Mastery is a multidisciplinary cultural platform creating live experiences at the intersection of music, art, science and consciousness. We head back to Funkhaus this summer to present a series of 4DSOUND experiences in collaboration with MONOM. Saturday August 8th 18:00 & 21:00 (two sessions) Nadia Struiwigh presents: IAMBIENT (evening) 14:00 - 18:00 Quantum Sound Listening Experience Featuring Bliss Code 001 by Wata Igarashi, Cherub Sanson, Tim Wheater & Rommek. Blurring the lines between sound as meditation, and ambient electronic music, we invite you to lie down, close your eyes, and immersive in the sonic landscape. The sound piece is 40 mins and your ticket grants you access for 90 mins. “As a composer, producer and certified sound therapist, I've always been fascinated by the way sound can shape how we feel. I paint pictures with frequencies, creating cinematic landscapes that invite the imagination to take over, as if you're watching a film with your eyes closed. Every journey is built through contrast. Light and dark. Tension and release. Stillness and movement. Delicate textures and deep resonant tones. It is within these contrasts that emotion begins to unfold. Using synthesisers, field recordings and sound design, I create worlds that can be explored rather than simply listened to. I also work intuitively with frequencies that, to me, resonate with different energetic centres of the body, allowing the music to feel both grounding and expansive. Everyone experiences IAMBIENT differently. Some people drift through memories, others discover new ideas, emotions or places that don't exist anywhere but within their own imagination. There is no right way to listen. Just space to be present. For me, IAMBIENT is about creating worlds through sound.
